12 Days of Fitmas with Ryan and Danielle of South County Boot Camp and Coaching for Women!

The holiday season is in full swing, and with it comes plenty of celebrations, typically filled with delicious food and drinks! Although this is an exciting time, it can wreak havoc on your fitness goals without proper planning. South County Boot Camp and Coaching for Women has a plan for you! Join in on this fun and challenging 12 Days of Fitmas Challenge. Depending on your fitness level, decide if you want to complete the entire challenge each day or start with day one and add in and add on daily.

How it works?

Option 1:   Start on day one and complete that day’s exercise. The next day, start on day one and add in day two. Follow this pattern for the entirety of 12 days.

Option 2:  Start on day one and complete that day. Next, add day two and start back at day one. Continue on until you have completed all twelve days of fitmas and repeat the entire workout daily for twelve days.

Option 3:  Get creative; if your fitness level requires something in the middle, you can go by a certain number of days at a time and add in as you see fit!

Here is the Challenge:

On the first day of fitmas my trainers gave me a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the second day of fitmas my trainers gave to me two squat jacks and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the third day of fitmas my trainers gave to me three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the fourth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the fifth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the sixth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the seven day of fitmas my trainers gave to me seven turtles swimming, six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the eighth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me eight sprinters sitting up, seven turtles swimming, six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the ninth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me nine plankers planking, eight sitting up, seven turtles swimming, six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the tenth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me ten lovely lunges, nine plankers planking, eight sitting up, seven turtles swimming, six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the eleventh day of fitmas my trainers gave to me eleven wipers wiping, ten lovely lunges, nine plankers planking, eight sitting up, seven turtles swimming, six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

On the twelfth day of fitmas my trainers gave to me twelve triceps dipping, eleven wipers wiping, ten lovely lunges, nine plankers planking, eight sitting up, seven turtles swimming, six stars a jumping, five holding squats, four worms are inching, three Russian twists, two squat jacks, and a burpee with a turn of 180 degrees.

 Nine Plankers Planking– You can do a 90 second plank hold or whatever amount will challenge you at your fitness level.

Eight Sprinters Situps-  Complete eight on each side.

Seven Turtles Swimming-  We refer to these as sea turtles.

Five Holding Squats- Hold the squat position at the bottom from 3-30 seconds, depending on your fitness level and goals.

Four Worms are Inching– We refer to these as Inch Worms.

Three Russian Twists- You can hold a weight between your palms for an added challenge.

 Two Squat Jacks-

Burpee with a turn of 180 degrees-  We do not have our chest hit the ground in boot camp. You can perform this depending on your fitness level. You can also leave out the turn if you are not ready.
