As summer is upon us so is the season for fresh veggies and beautiful vegetation. Rhode island offers many farmers’ markets which are just overflowing with fresh and local produce as well as so much more. Richmond Farmers’ Market in RI is one of my favorites. It is smaller scale than some of the others but still provides all that you seek in a local market.

Burnside Acres: Corn, tomatoes and mixed vegetables
- Cedar Edge Farm: Certified organic vegetables, seedlings and flowers.
- East Beach Oyster Farm: the freshest shellfish featuring East Beach Blonde Oysters.
- Hannah’s Farm Alpacas: Hand made alpaca fleece garments. Gourmet jams and relishes.
- Luckyfoot Ranch and CSA: Vegetables, fruits and herbs.
- Narrow Lane Orchard: Tree-ripened peaches and apples. Honey and berries.
- Our Kids Farm: Vegetables, bedding plants, cut flowers and cheese.
- Stoney Hill Cattle Farm: Local beef, pork, chicken and eggs.
- Sweet November Bakery: Muffins, pastries, calzones, pizza strips, and smoothies.
- Usquepaugh Baking Company: Yeast breads, sheet cakes, scones and dog cookies.
- What’s Pop’n: Sweet and salty Kettle Corn.
