Do you love slurping succulent briny oysters by the dozen? Then mark your social date book for the 23rd of September! The Ocean State Oyster Fest will be taking place from 1pm-7pm at River Walk Park in Providence! You can expect to find those savory bivalves served in a variety of delicious ways. Aside from pleasing crowds, the Ocean State Oyster Festival aims to:
Raise awareness of, and celebrate, Rhode Island’s aquaculture industry; PROVIDE A PLATFORM THAT HELPS EXPAND RHODE ISLAND’S AQUACULTURE ECONOMY; Support education programs for the public on the environmental sustainability of Narragansett Bay –

General admission tickets $25 each in advance ($30 at the door) gets you
a half dozen oysters of your choosing and an ice cold craft beer, wine, or beverage.
Additional oyster and drink tickets also available.
Highlighting great local food, live music, food trucks,
activities for kids, culinary exhibitors, and a shucking contest!
Children under 12 FREE.
We’re tented, so event is RAIN or SHINE.
