Fresh Ground Garden Cafe

If you are anything like me in the morning, you think of three things…coffee, coffee, and more coffee.  This morning I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a steamy latte while being surrounded by the fresh scent of pine trees.  You can grab a hot beverage and pick out your tree!  This cafe is located right off 138 in Richmond.  Fresh Ground Garden Cafe not only offers freshly brewed coffee, they also offer:

In the warmer weather,  patio area is surrounded by beautiful plantings allowing you a moment of serenity while sipping your beverage.  If you happen to have an appetite, Fresh Ground Garden Cafe offers a variety of baked goods such as scones, cupcakes, muffins, cookies, bagels, and fresh breads.  You can also build a sandwich with fresh meats and vegetables on your choice of bread or a wrap.  They also offer a sandwich menu, my favorite…The California Turkey Wrap with fresh avocado!

Fresh Ground Garden Cafe is worth the trip for breakfast or lunch.  They are opened from 6am-4pm.  The atmosphere will suit the young and the old.  There are kids books on the shelf just begging to be read by the little ones.  What is perhaps one of the most important features of this cafe is the service.  No matter who I find behind the counter, I am always greeted with such kindness and wonderful service.  Fresh Ground Garden cafe is truly one of Rhode Island’s great coffee stops.  Make this one of your local stops, I know I have!

The perfect setting for breakfast or lunch… surrounded by Clark Farms beautiful plants and seasonal items!  I can only imagine how beautiful it will be once all of the plantings begin to bloom this spring.
