Back by popular demand, the GQ Grooming Award-winning company, Brothers Artisan Oil, teams up with Rhode Island’s Narragansett beer once again for a limited time. Brothers Artisan Oil and Narragansett teamed up to craft an exclusive beard oil made from only all-natural ingredients like argan oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, and a blend of essential oils. This grooming oil can be used to benefit beards, hair, and skin. Using Narragansett’s Made on Honor collection, users can reap the benefits of the oil while enjoying a light scent inspired by Narragansett’s Citra Ale.
Brothers Artisan Oil (BAO) was started by Cape Cod natives Owen and Baxter Shea accompanied by Owen’s wife, Marie Shea. The team is deeply grounded in their family roots; from their Mayflower ancestry, to the table in BAO’s Norwood, Mass. headquarters that was built by their great grandfather. In fact, their entire business started after Owen and Baxter refused to shave their beards while their mother was recovering from a stroke. The then-bartenders left their jobs to pursue a career creating oils to soothe their itchy beards.
Brothers Artisan Oil prides themselves on crafting products that are healthy for both you and the environment. They test on willing humans, and only buy ingredients from suppliers that follow that same practice. They use only pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils.
The collaboration between Narragansett and BAO is oddly cohesive! Narragansett has been a New England favorite for about 130 years. They have a long, rich history here, from appearing in magazines and newspapers nationwide, to sponsoring the Boston Red Sox. Made on Honor is a series started by Narragansett over ten years ago to celebrate and work with the brilliant craftsmen and women in the community. New England is home to passionate artists, chefs, creators, and retailers who all deserve to have their work supported by the community. The series won an Emmy in 2016 for Best Community Service Project.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with one of the most popular and reputable beer brands in New England all while introducing our brand to another market,” said Co-Founder Owen Shea. “Partnering with Narragansett allows my team to further expand their knowledge and creativity when it comes to coming up with new and innovative products. Collaborating with such a well-known brand adds a little additional pressure in the development process, but we look forward to working with other brands to further grow our collection.”
Narragansett notes that BAO shouldn’t only be known for their products, but also for their family values, and the idea that they make products for all people, which is “a sentiment they can truly get behind.”
The Narragansett Grooming Oil is available for purchase on their website and will also be available on-site at the Narragansett Made Of Honor event, Saturday, June 30, 2018.
In addition to their award-winning grooming oil, BAO also create products useful for the home and everyday living including an all-natural room spray, magnesium stick deodorants, a 3-in-1 charcoal purifying wash, pomade and more!
