Owners Theresa Amaral and Karen Smolan have joined forces to provide a tranquil location that offers two powerful services, Yoga and Reiki.
Reiki:
The Reiki experience at Journey into the Soul Wellness center is all about making you comfortable before, during and after the experience. Reiki sessions are held in serene treatment rooms on tables or in chairs, depending on the needs of the client. You will remain fully clothed and you can utilize an eye pillow or heated blanket to enhance your experience. These sessions are silent except for the subtle, soothing music in the background. The Reiki practioner will use light touch from the head to the feet, front and back of the body. If you are sensitive to touch, you may request that the practitioner channels energy above the body. Each individual receives Reiki differently but the benefits are often similar. Many clients feel less stress, greater relaxation, centeredness and an overall feeling of well-being. Once your session is complete, you may relax and reflect in the Tranquility Room with tea, coffee or water.

Happy Hips Class:

This class is of value if you sit all day, run, walk or have lower back discomfort. It will release tension in your hips. Create freedom! You will leave with comfort in your hips and a smile on your face!
Release Stress-Soothe the Nervous System:

Do you have stress in your life? Stress is held in the nervous system. Stress flows into the muscles and organs of the body when the nervous system is saturated. Since most stress is perceived stress, controlling the mind is crucial to the release of stress. Learn techniques to calm the mind to help surrender stress. Explore supportive and gentle poses to invite peacefulness and gentleness throughout your mind, body and spirit.

Rise and Shine Class

Awaken your Body, Mind and Spirit with an active but gentle class as you stretch, strengthen, balance and twist your way into your day. Explore a variety of hip opening, standing poses and slow flow sequences leaving class feeling calm, refreshed and focused with a smile.

This well-rounded practice develops balance and strength throughout your body. Overcome stiffness. Open and strengthen the shoulders. Feel rejuvenated with a fuller expression of you and your yoga practice.

Blissful Basic Class:

Students will be immersed in the foundation of yoga practice in a joyful and welcoming environment. Stretch and strengthen your body and cultivate mindfulness through alignment-based asana (postures). This class is designed to facilitate opening and peace of the body and mind in every pose, using props such as blocks and straps. This class is perfect for those new to yoga as well as seasoned practitioners looking to refresh on the basics. Enjoy your week of bliss!

Expand the Heart with Love and allow your Heart to Shine! Create mobility in your spine as you stretch and tone it. Move forward in your life as you open the rib cage, shoulders, hips and chest feeling the expansion of love in your Heart. Finish this class with a 15-minute Heartful meditation to shine for the remainder of your day!
