I have been a camper for a year-and-a-half and joining camp was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I was nervous starting. (Something new is always nerve-wracking.)From the first day on, Ryan and Daniel made me feel like I was a part of the group and they inspired me to stay and keep working. If I felt like I “couldn’t” do something, they were right there to support me. Besides Ryan and Daniel, the other women in the camp inspired me to work hard as well. It’s been like one big family where we are all there for the same reason — to improve ourselves and to support each other in our journeys. We work hard but we laugh and energize each other. Since joining camp, I have lost 25 pounds without dieting, which I attribute to exercise and eating healthier. More importantly, I am so much healthier overall and stronger. Right now I have a sick Labrador who needs help getting up the stairs. He’s 82 pounds. Before camp I wouldn’t have been able to lift him and get him up the stairs. Now I can thanks to camp. I have also developed friendships with the other women and we’ve run some races together and I completed my first BoldRDash last fall, something I never would have been able to accomplish without boot camp. If you are thinking that it’s time to make a change in your life to become healthier, happier, and stronger, boot camp is the place to start. Daniel and Ryan are the best coaches and we all “love’ them.
