The Flea Market is celebrating ist 56th season. It is the oldest, continually operating flea market in the state of Rhode Island. Open Saturdays, Sundays and Monday Holidays
The Flea Market is open on Sundays only, during these first few weeks of May.
Then the Flea expands, to include Saturdays, Sundays and Holiday Mondays, from May 29 (Memorial Day Weekend) through the end of the 2021 Season on Columbus Day, October 11.
The historic General Stanton Inn’s (est 1667) Flea Market is a tree lined, sea breezed, outdoor gathering place for vendors with eco-friendly commerce and visitors to enjoy. Also, accomodations are available at the General Stanton Inn.
In addition to “green” antiques, vintage, and renewable collector’s items, we offer a welcoming environment with a country fair flair from late April through Columbus Day for the sale of small batch edibles, current merchandise, home made crafts and art. Since its’ start in 1965, the General Stanton Inn Flea Market has continually set the “gold standard” for outdoor flea markets in the region.
In addition to the required protective face masks for both visitors and vendors, gloves are also encouraged when handling the antiques and collectibles. Social distancing will be facilitated by extra spacing between vendor booths.
Vendor and visitor information is available from General Stanton Inn and Flea Market Owner, Janice Falcone (401) 364-1817
