RI Craft Beer Week will celebrate RI’s beer manufacturers and feature events scheduled at your favorite Rhode Island bars, restaurants, package stores, as well as on-premise at RI’s 35+ breweries/brewpubs. Visit as many breweries as you can this week to win prizes like beer fest tickets!

ALL WEEK – Rhode Map Challenge – Visit every RI Brewery to win prizes like beer fest tickets! Scroll down to learn more!

• All Week– Blind Beer Tasting at Taproot Brewing Co. Think you could identify which 4 beers we put in a flight? Come try our mystery flight and test your knowledge with our clue worksheet. It might be harder than you think – but if you name the 4 correct beers there will be a prize! During Taproot opening hours March 3-12, 2023.

• March 3/2 & 3/3 – First Thursday @Narragansett Providence, Nitro Stout Beer Release and RICBW kick-off -Cans & Draft – The whole batch is nitro!

• March 2, 7-9pm – “IPA Tasting” at Long Live Beerworks! Tickets include four (4) specially curated tasting pours (6 oz), and a guided tasting. Option to purchase paired snack-board available. Join them to talk about all things hop-related.

• March 3, 5-7:30pm – “Paint a Planter” with The Creative Space Art Studio at Tilted Barn– ticketed event

• March 3, 7:30-9:30pm– Musical Bingo with Good Thomas at Smug Brewing Company in Pawtucket! Join them for four games of bingo (with prizes) while enjoying a cold, Smug brew! Pa’l Monte food truck will be on site.

• March 4, 2023, 11am-1pm– Chili Cook Off at Linesider Brewing to kick of RI Craft Beer Week! Look for details on their social! Friskie Fries 2-9

• March 4, 1pm – Bonsai Bar @Smug Brewing. Grab your friends, grab a drink and come make tiny trees with Smug! Tickets $75 here.

• March 4, 2pm-5pm – Rejects Beer Co. “Doggie Talent Contest” – prizes, gift cards, photo booth. One dollar from every beer gets donated directly to the Potter League for Animals who will be on site with a booth!

• March 4, Noon– Fresh Catch Saturday at Narragansett Providence, 2-7 pm Matunuck Oyster Co Pop-up: Oysters, clams, and shrimp (3 for $6.00), Seafood Menu – Lobster Rolls, White Clam & Chorizo Flatbreads, other specials TBD, Hollow Turtle (music)

• March 4 – “The Most Commanding Day of the Year at Shaidzon“. South County BBQ 3-8pm. Live music: Stefan Couture & Matt Nolan 3-6pm. URI Basketball Pregame 5-8pm

• March 4, 2023, 6-9pm – Awards Ceremony for the 10^th Ocean State Homebrew Competition at The Guild Pawtucket! 35 awards categories and a big raffle!!! The awards ceremony is open to the public. Both the competition and the awards/raffle are to benefit the RIDEA Committee and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

• March 5 – Beer Judge Certification Exam (BJCP) at Johnson & Wales University. Anyone interested in sitting the exam needs to email Jennifer Pereira ASAP to reserve a seat. The fee is only $40 for first-time exam takers. There will potentially be a party afterwards to celebrate the launch of RI Craft Beer Week 2023!

• March 5 – Head to Smug Brewing with your kiddos! Autumn from The Makers Club will be onsite.  She offers fun crafts for kiddos to create while their folks enjoy a Smug brew!  Crafts are $5 each with no reservations necessary.

• March 5 – “Donuts, Drafts, & Doggos” & Narragansett.” The Official Launch of a weekly Donut Drop from PVD Donuts (incorporating Nitro stout); Parks & Rec Pup Adoption Walk; Bootcamp & Brews 11am-12pm

• March 6, 5-9pm – Cupcake Flight Pairing w/ JoJo’s Cupcakes at Linesider Brewing! Four 5oz pours will be paired with four delicious cupcakes from JoJo’s Cupcakes! Tickets here.

• March 6, 6-8pm – Industry Night at Six Pack Brewing in Bristol! Brewing Industry Workers – come gather! Beer lovers, come hobnob with them!

• March 6, 6:30 pm – “Open Pong Night” at Rejects Beer Co. Show up for some ping pong and brews- no need for a partner!

• March 6, 7-9pm– Your Name “Beer” Beer Week Trivia at Narragansett! The winning trivia team will be granted the right to name a taproom beer

• March 7th, 7pm – 2nd Annual Saugy Showdown at Linesider Brewing. Last year this saugy hotdog eating competition was a ton of fun! Brewers will compete first against each other (Luke Gerweck of Tilted Barn defending his title!) and then the public competition starts with a $15 entry fee. First to finish 3 saugys and a beer wins Linesider gift package! Folks are welcome just come drink beer and buy Saugy’s from the truck and watch the fun – no entry fee for that! • March 7, 7-9pm – Narragansett Brewing Tap Takeover Pint Night at Ogie’s Trailer Park. Bohemian Pilsner and 1-2 other craft draft options.  Buy a pint and keep the glass including some special 20oz mugs for those who buy the Boh Pils!

• March 7, 8-11pm – Invitational Industry Karaoke Contest at Narragansett.

• March 8, 3-8pm – Flight Night Wednesday at Taproot Brewing Co. Discounted beer flights, paired bites, fire pits, s’mores, hot cocoa, and games. Fire pits first come, first serve.
