The Martucci Group will need to change their current tagline ‘all under one roof’ with their recent purchase of Besos Kitchen and Cocktails, located at 378 Main Street in East Greenwich. The Martucci Group has announced they are expanding and moving down onto Main Street, bringing their extensive success managing several popular establishments on Old Forge Road, just a mile down the road to Besos Kitchen and Cocktails.
The Martucci Group currently owns Safehouse Modern Neighborhood Eatery; a stunning new upscale establishment originally inspired by the ski culture of Jackson Hole Wyoming, The Trap Brew Pub & Grill; featuring unique pub fare along with a wide beer selection and great live entertainment, and Chianti’s Catering; providing locals with their favorite Italian-inspired dishes for personal and corporate events.
“Besos Kitchen and Cocktails has already established itself as a premium bistro in East Greenwich with delectable food and hand-crafted cocktails.” says T.J. Martucci, President of The Martucci Group. “From the menu to the décor, Besos warm and inviting atmosphere is the perfect blend of old and new. We’re proud to become part of a place we have loved ourselves for so many years and feel it’s a perfect property to bring under our umbrella.”
Previously owned by husband and wife Mike and Kristin Della Grotta, Besos has been family run since 2011 and they are thrilled to know it will continue to be family owned and operated by The Martucci Group. “When we decided to move on, we set out to find someone who would appreciate the people, ideas, hard work and historic value that makes Besos so unique.” says Kristin Della Grotta. “We found that person in TJ Martucci, as he brings a wealth of restaurant knowledge and fully appreciates what we’ve built. TJ is uniquely suited to take Besos into the next chapter and lead Besos to even more greatness. We are honored to pass the baton from one Italian family to another.”
Besos is located in the historic Elm’s building, which according to local folklore has been a tavern from it’s beginnings, c.1880. With glossy black chandeliers and barn wood floors, an onyx stone bar and an extensive wrap-around garden porch featuring a fire-pit, rockers and an outdoor bar; Besos has the perfect blend of small New England town charm along with modern menus and comtemporary cocktails.
“We have always said, it’s our unique dining environments that draw you in, but it’s our incredible food and service that will keep you coming back for more,” says Martucci. “Besos will be no exception and we can’t wait to get started.”
Besos Executive Chef Joseph Caldarone’s menu includes unique lunch items such as brussels and bacon pizza, their famous Besos burger and baked rigatoni. An extensive dinner menu includes fun additions like wild mushroom tart, duck bolognese, grilled swordfish, porchetta and more. Both menus are complimented by extensive wine and craft cocktail lists.
For those who enjoy getting rewarded for their dining choices, Besos will now join Safehouse, The Trap and Chianti’s Catering as part of The Martucci Group’s Loyalty Program, where patrons receive reward points for their spend, can make reservations, view current wait times and more, right from their mobile app. For more information visit www.TheMartucciGroup.com.About The Martucci Group
