Rhode Island is the perfect state to enjoy the Holiday Season. Here are 10 family holiday events in Rhode Island that will have your family 
feeling festive.
- The Providence Flea Holiday Market: Held on December 7th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at 324 Hope Street in Providence. In addition to the usual vendors, there will also be Providence’s food trucks. - 44th Annual Christmas in Newport: Being held throughout Newport, this event takes place on December 9th and really lets you celebrate Christmas Rhode Island style. Learn more here.
- Christmas Carol: Taking place at the Courthouse Center of the Arts in West Kingston through December 19th. This event will feature much of Rhode Island’s best and most original artists, including the Big Nazo Lab and the Rhode Island Shakespeare Company. Learn more here!
- Holiday Collage: Held at the Providence Children’s Museum on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, this family friendly event will let kids put together holiday collages. Learn more at here.
- Children’s Holiday Story Time: Held at the Blithewold Mansion in Bristol. Through December 17th, there will be three daily Christmas story readings, crafts, and cookies. Admission is free. Learn more at blithewold.org.

- Boat Rides With Santa: On December 13th in Providence, you can take a thirty minute boat ride with Santa and Frosty the snowman up and down the Providence River. All ages two years and older are welcome. Learn more at providenceriverboat.com.
- Hanukkah in Barrington: Held at the Bay Spring Community Center in Barrington, this event will feature live music and cultural exploration of Jewish culture and music throughout the world. Learn more at bsccri.org.
