GLUTEN-FREE NEW ENGLAND BRINGS HOLIDAY FEST TO RHODE ISLAND

Gluten-Free New England, the region’s premier resource for healthy gluten-free living, announces their first annual holiday fest at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, RI on December 16, 2018,10am-3pm. Thefamily-friendly event will feature local businesses and national brands, as well food demos and kids activities. 

Attendees will sip, sample, and purchase items from 50 vendors showcasing a wide range of unique gluten-free products, many of them made right in the Ocean State. Kids ages 3-12 can visit the allergen-free cookie decorating booth, sponsored by Enjoy Life Foods. There will also be cookingdemos throughout the day presented by celiac junior chefAlexis Caldwell, and sponsored by Rhode Island-based A & J Bakery. Free photo opps will be available and raffles will be drawn hourly. 

“The number of adults and kids being diagnosed with food allergies and sensitivities is growing incredibly fast. But so is the number of local businesses and artisans producing unique, allergy-friendly foods and products.” says owner Abby Helman Kelly. “We’re excited to bring everyone together! Kelly says that she chose Rhode Island for her inaugural holiday fest because of its vibrant gluten-free and allergen-friendly food scene. “I just love finding new foods and products for our audience, and Rhode Island is full of great ones.” She plans to host the festival in a different New England state each year.We’re going on tour!” she laughs. 

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, ages 3-12. The price of admission includes a reusable tote bag, all the samples you can eat, fun photo opportunities, and a visit to the allergen-free cookie decorating table for the kids. Purchase now at this link.

Gluten-Free New England is owned and operated by Connecticut resident Abby Helman Kelly.
