RaceRhodeIsland.net was launched today to provide Rhode Islanders with a single website to list all races – run, bike, swim, obstacle, kayak, SUP and any other kind mass participation race.
“As a runner, I had observed that the road race directories on the web had become fragmented and had not kept up with technology. As a Triathlete, I found there was no single website where I could find a complete list of the multi-sports that I was interested in,” said George Ross, owner of RaceRhodeIsland.net
The website provides a detailed list of a diverse range of multi-sport activities in Rhode Island (and in nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts) one-click access to each category of race, primary event information, Social Media integration, a Google map and a feature that allows you to add the event to your personal calendar.
Race directors can easily add their events and, for a small fee, can feature their races to make them stand out against all other free listings.
Provision has been made for running/cycling clubs to list their group runs/rides.
Additionally, RaceRhodeIsland.net has been built on a platform which is mobile compliant.
