Family Friendly Winter Stargazing Nights at Drew Observatory

Every Friday night from 7:30 -9:30pm (weather permitting) the Frosty Drew Observatory & Sky Theatre in NinigretPark is the place to be for an out of this world experience!

Hang out with the Observatory astronomers and telescopes as they showcase the Rings of Saturn, the cratered lunar surface, the Galilean Moons of Jupiter, the polar ice caps of Mars, the phases of Venus, massive stars, speckled star clusters, vast nebulae, distant galaxies, and the best views of the Milky Way in Rhode Island.

It is cold at Frosty Drew Observatory during the winter. Visitors will be completely exposed to the harsh winter environment while standing on frozen ground. Dressing properly is REQUIRED to attend!

At Frosty Drew, they love everything about what they do. They strive to bring quality nature and science education to everybody while keeping program fees at a minimum through the kind support of people like yourself. $5:00 suggested donation per person 5 years and older.

The Frosty Drew Observatory & Sky Theatre is located at 61 Park Lane, Ninigret Park, Charlestown, RI. To plan your stargazing adventure visit www.frostydrew.org or call (401) 859-1450
