Locavores, A Special Farmers’ Market Just for You!

Are you one of those shoppers who like to get everything done at one stop? Or are you last minute shopper who thought you had it all together but forgot some things? Well worry not, if you are those kinds of holiday shoppers then you are all set, SK Farmer’s Market has planned something just for you and everyone else this year by adding a special holiday market with new additions to take care of all of your last minute shopping. The same vendors that you will find on Saturdays of course are making a night time market available to its customers. Great idea!  Bigger brighter and better than ever. If you haven’t been to the Market this year,  this Thursday evening is the time to check it out from 3-7 pm.

• Freshest Veggies, local beef, pork, chicken, eggs
• Local handmade gifts like birdhouses, furniture, knitted items, pottery, toys, stained glass.
• Decor like evergreen wreaths, and table decorations
• Local Honey, bakery items, prepared foods, healthy juices

Of course “NEW” is a good word this year for the market as it’s in a much improved new area of the Peace Dale Mill.

Inside the huge open space, each vendor is visible and easy to get to. A new entrance on the street side of Kingstown Rd. gets you right in the main market space. A small room off to the left holds the food vendor area with seating and music like always.

Jamestown Vineyards offers a free wine tasting! Now that’s something you don’t find on Saturdays! Have a taste and get healthy shopping for locally raised meats and veggies.
