The Providence GPub beer garden will reopen for business on Friday, May 28th for the first time since the Fall of 2020. For its second year, the outdoor beer garden will be located on Orange Street and offer unique craft beer, elevated pub fare, and live entertainment.
“We developed the beer garden concept last year in response to the pandemic and our guests’ desire for fun and comfortable outdoor dining spaces,” said Colin Geoffroy, President of G Hospitality. “Obviously, when temperatures dropped in November, we had to close it down but we always planned to reopen it this Spring. Now, more than ever, people are looking for great outdoor dining spots so we’re excited to bring our unique space to life once again.”
Guests will be able to enjoy a unique craft beer list which includes local favorites like Whaler’s Rise, as well as some others from around the region such as Schilling Beer Co’s Poppy’s Moonship Raspberry Gose. In addition to great craft beer, a variety of craft ciders from High Limb Cider in Plymouth, MA will be on the menu, along with canned wines from Rhode Island winery, Anchor & Hope.
“Our goal when crafting our beverage program is always to bring the best local stuff in but also to bring in some unique things from around the region that our guests may not have tried before,” said Geoffroy. “We love to expose our diners to lesser known and unique craft drinks that we know they’ll really like.”
As for food, beer garden guests can enjoy some of their favorite GPub menu items like pulled pork poutine, the G burger with candied bacon, and a pub favorite jumbo Munich pretzel with beer mustard.
In addition to great local food and drinks, guests can enjoy live entertainment each Saturday night and play lawn games like corn hole each night. Beer garden hours of operation are Friday-Sunday 3pm-9pm. Currently, reservations are not accepted. Outdoor dining only.
