Providence Winter Restaurant Week

Need a delicious reason to head to Providence? Well, here you go! Providence has another restaurant week coming up, from January the 11th through the 24th. At any of the dozens of participating restaurants, you can get a three-course lunch for $14.95, or a three course dinner for either $29.95 or $34.95, depending on the restaurant in question. Restaurant weeks requires no coupons or any kind of sign-up; just show up at the participating restaurant (full list below) and enjoy their restaurant week deal. Here’s a quick look at some of the participating restaurants.
There’s Aspire, For their prixe fixe dinner, you start off your first course with a choice of New England Clam Chowder, a potato and leek soup with pork larding, or one of two salads. For your second course, help yourself to their Veal Bolognese, their Atlantic Salmon, Steak Frite, Quinoa-Stuffed Winter Squash, or the Herb Roasted Chicken Breast. And for your third course, try one of their creative and delicious dessert, including their Thin Mint Napolean, a minty chocolate mousse that has been layered with crumbled thin mint cookies. Centro is another tasty option. Your meal here starts with a choice of four options, including the Pork and Polenta topped with coffee cinnamon and a cayenne-chili sauce. Or, if you want to save room, try the Caesar Salad or the Tuscan Bean Soup. For your second course, try the Ravioli di Margo, stuffed with spinach, ricotta, and parmesan. Or you could have the Salmon Riviera, fresh-caught, non-farmed salmon that is oven roasted and served with roast potatoes. And there’s Rue De L’Espoir, a restaurant that combines French cuisine and American bistro food, and a perfect spot for lunch. Start off with their horderves tray before moving on to their Croque Tartine Parisienne, made with ham, gruyere, and a béchamel sauce, or try their delicious Quiche.
