WHAT: Sons of Liberty Spirits hosts a night of cocktails, games, music and food in support of Stefanie Carr, a member of the Sons of Liberty team who miraculously survived being hit by a car while riding her bicycle this past summer. While Stef is on the road to recovery, medical bills are piling up, and the Sons of Liberty team is hosting a fundraiser at the distillery to help ease the financial burden.
All proceeds from the bar, raffles and other Sons of Liberty purchases will go straight to Stefanie to help pay for her medical bills and ice cream (she likes ice cream).
The bar will feature newly created Sons of Liberty cocktails as well as beer from Whaler’s Brewing Company and Proclamation Ale Company. Boneheads Wing Bar will serve up complimentary free wings with an event-exclusive caramel whiskey sauce from 6 – 7 p.m. who will then pass the baton to Eddie’s BBQ who will be parked outside the distillery from 7 – 9 p.m. Live entertainment will be provided by James DeSalvo from James and the Giants, and raffle items will be up for grabs donated by local Rhode Island businesses and friends of the entire Sons of Liberty team.
