The Newport to Providence Ferry…The Ocean State Way to Travel!

Starting on July 1st, you can leave Newport and travel the Narragansett Bay to the capital city of Providence.  Avoid traffic and board the fast ferry for a luxurious and convenient way to travel. This new service will make Rhode Island even more accessible to those who live here as well as those visiting.  The ticket prices are very affordable making this the perfect option for your entire family.  Commuting by ferry makes perfect sense, after all, we are the Ocean State!

SENIOR (65+) $5

DISABLED $5

Round Trip $20

The price is certainly worth avoiding the headaches that can come with traffic, parking and the like.  This ferry also makes day tripping with family and friends a lot more appealing.  The Seastreak Ferry Terminal is located in Newport at 39 America’s Cup Avenue and in Providence at 25 India Street.
