Sadly, summer is on its way out. However, there are 30 days left until Labor Day…so make the most of it! Here is something to do everyday for the next 30 days of summer.
1. August 8th- The Reggae Festival at India Point Park. Nothing says summer like some laid back island vibes. Check out 
the Reggae Festival to see some incredible acts such as Yellow Man and Steele Pulse. Click here for more.

2. August 9th- The Charlestown Seafood Festival is a summer must that features some of the finest seafood in the area. You can actually hit this event the 7-9th.
August 9th is also the kids Boldrdash Race at Yawgoo Valley in Exeter, more family fun!
3. August 10th- Participate in Monday Morning Sun Salutations at Narragansett Beach with Natural Fitness Yoga. The perfect start to a summer day.
4. August 11th- Easton’s Beach is also home to a Yoga Class from 7-8 pm. Join Innerlight Center for Yoga and Meditation as you soak up the last days of summer.
5. August 12th– This date kicks off the start of The Washington County Fair, Rhode Island’s largest agricultural event. You have until the 16th to attend this treasured summer fair.
6. August 13th- Wakefield has been hosting a River Fire and Art Walk where you can enjoy local art and stunning river fire. Click here for more.
The Fashion Festival and Shopping Showcase will be taking place at Fort Adams State Park from 3-7 pm.
7. August 14th- Smell that salty breeze and catch an outdoor concert at Gazebo Park in Narragansett. All week long there are other free concerts happening. Click here for the full schedule.
8. August 15th- Add a little love to your life and adopt a pet at Save One Soul pet adoption event. This event will take place at Bow Chicka Wow Town in Warwick. Details here.
If you love beer and a good time, then head over to Newport Storm’s Luau to benefit the Fort Adams Trust.

9. August 16th- Blackstone Riverboat Tours will be offering relaxing nature cruises on the Blackstone River. Tours are at 1,2,3 and 4 pm. Click here for more.
10. August 17th- The PawSox are a Rhode Island tradition and are synonymous with the term summer time. Catch a game and salute a summer tradition.
11. August 18th- Take a Tuesday Stroll in Bristol from 10-11 am. Take a walk around the 1799 Coggeshall Farm and learn about the animals and gardens.

12. August 19th- If you are feeling the mid-week blues, then head to Westerly for some Blues on the Beach. Guaranteed to wipe your blues away and remind you that sand in your toes is music to your ears.
Biomes in North Kingstown will be hosting a Pixie and Pirate Party that is bound to have the little ones entertained while they learn about our local ocean habitat.
13. August 20th- Head to Main Street East Greenwich for the Taste Of East Greenwich Stroll. Starting at 5 pm, you can stroll, shop and sample.

14. August 21st- Roger Williams Park is the place to quell your hunger. Food Truck Truck Friday offers great food, beer and carousel rides. Details here.
Shake your tail feather at third Friday Floor Time FUN Dance Party from 7-10 pm. Details here.
15. August 22nd- Head to Pawtucket and visit Crooked Current Brewery. They are open Saturdays 1-5 pm, other times and dates are also available. Click here for all the details.
Learn the difference between Dragons and Damsels at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. This event starts at 10 am and ends at 12 pm.
16. August 23rd- Aqua will be hosting a Lobster Splash and Clambake event in the Providence Marriott. This is the quintessential Rhode Island meal coupled with 3 delicious beers from Foolproof Brewery. Details here.

17. August 24th- Monday can feel mundane…so ward off the Monday blues with a Tequila Tour on Federal Hill. Sip Tequila at various locations and savor the delicious accompaniments. These sultry summer nights are perfect for a walking tour. Details here.
18. August 25th- Halloween is still a ways away but it is never too early for a good ol’ fashioned scare. Take a Providence Ghost Tour at 8 pm and learn some chilling facts about the East Side of Providence. Let the lantern add the ambiance as you get your scare on. Details here.
19. August 26th- Get artsy, get hungry and get ready for a throw-down. You can find the Narragansett Artisans Guild weekly art show at Gazebo Park in Narragansett. The food trucks are also in the area so you do not to have shop for art on an empty tummy.
Head to Nick-A-Nee’s for a Bluegrass Throedown…music and merriment are guaranteed.
20. August 27th- Find your friends or family and fill your car to the brim. For $10/car you can catch a drive-in movie in Misquamicut. Airplane will be the film…details here.
21. August 28th- Check out Foolproof Brewery from 5-7 pm and sample their brews. Click here for details and other days/times to visit.
SK CARES anuual golf tournament is a fun way to make a difference in the community!
22. August 29th- Speaking of beer, check out Bucket Brewery for a tour of their establishment. More details here.

23. August 30th- TwoTen Oyster Bar and Grill is the perfect location to spend a summer Sunday. Even more inviting is the Buck-a-Shuck hours from 11:30-1 pm on Sunday. Live music, great drinks and awesome food make this the perfect summer day venue.
24. August 31st- Visit My Sky Exhibit at the Providence Children’s Museum. This way you can spend the last of the summer nights gazing up to the sky and recalling all you learned.
25. September 1st- Don’t say goodbye to summer yet! Take a Rhode Island Lighthouse Cruise and see the beauty from the sea. Details here. There are more dates and times…so be sure to fit this in!
26. September 2nd- Hop a ferry to Block Island and hit the local farmers market there. Stay the day and catch the Saint Andrews Summer Concert Series. In fact, stay the night…here are some places you might like! Ferry details here.

28. September 4th- The long awaited Rhythm and Roots Festival will be jamming at Ninigret Park all weekend long. You can make a weekend or a day of it. It is family friendly and offers something for everyone. This event is a must, so plan your weekend accordingly. Details here.
29. September 5th- Dance the night away with Steve Smith and the Nakeds as they close out the summer season at Ocean Mist. Click here for more events at the mist!
30. September 6th- Not to suggest drowning your sorrows of summer’s passing in alcohol, but…The Safari Room offers a brunch that starts at 11:30 and features a Bloody Mary bar. So sleep in and then come salute summer goodbye at The Safari Room. Other places you might want to brunch-it:
And on September 7th….find the time to do your favorite summer activity…because before you know, the leaves will turn and everything will revolve around pumpkins. The good news…fall in Rhode Island is awesome and there is so much seasonal fun to be had. With that, revel in the last days of summer and look forward to all that the crispy season of fall has to offer.
