Most Italian restaurants flourish at dinner, and while this is certainly true at Vesuvio, their lunch menu shouldn’t be overlooked. Try their Baked Mozzarella Ravioli, or their Egg-battered Chicken served with lemon white wine sauce. Or try the Chicken Vesuvio, an Italian American dish finding its origins in Chicago: an herb-sautéed cut of chicken served with roasted potatoes, garlic, and white wine.

While lunch has a lot to offer, the options really open up during dinner. For a start there’s the amazing seafood options, from Baked, Egg-battered Cod sautéed with seasoned bread crumbs, white wine, and lemon or try their Sicilian Shrimp, pan fried in olive oil. Or try the Cioppino Stew, served with shrimp, clams, scallops, cod, and squid, all served in a tomato broth.

Their pasta options are equally impressive, with the likes of their homemade Ricotta Gnocchi, served with mozzarella, Romano, and basil. Or for something a bit simpler, try their Fettuccini Alfredo made with fresh cream.
