Waterman Grille in Providence is situated right on historic Waterman street on the East Side, just a short drive from Blackstone Boulevard. With a comfortable and well-decorated interior, and a view overlooking the Seekonk River, Waterman Grille is a comfortable and luxurious place to spend the evening.

Waterman Grille gets as much of its food locally as possible. They get vegetables from Baby Greens Farm in North Kingstown, meat from Blackbird Farm in Smithfield, and cheese from Cato Corner Farm from Colchester, Connecticut, to name just a few.

Their menu is expansive. For a start you can get one of their shared plate for the table, including calamari made from fresh Point Judith squid, and served with banana peppers and aioli.

For your entree, enjoy their Slow Braised Short Ribs, served with a smoked gouda croquette, asparagus soubise, braised jus, and arugula. Or you could try their Grass-Fed Burger, with beef from Maine Family Farms and served with aged cheddar and applewood bacon. There’s also the Block Island Cornmeal Crusted Fluke, served with a gentle avocado risotto, hazelnuts, arugula, and topped with a citrus-chili emulsion.

Waterman Grille also serves a three course prixe fixe menu Sunday through Wednesday (Holidays excluded.) A three-course meal for two is $59.95, including a bottle of either Chardonnay or Cabernet.

Your first, second, and third courses each have several options apiece. You could start off with a Butternut Bisque for your starter, move on to a Chili-Brined Hanger Steak for your entree, and finish it off with a Maple Creme Brulee with Buttered Shortbread Cookies. Be sure to check out Crafted Burger and Foolproof Beer Night on Thursdays!

The Waterman Grille is located at 392 Waterman Street in Providence, overlooking the river. To see their full, up-to-date menu, visit Waterman Grille in Providence here.
