Westerly Restaurant Week  is a great way to visit some new restaurants and try some new food without breaking the bank. From September 28^th to October 5^th, a dozen different Westerly restaurants will be offering prix fixe lunches and dinners. In

addition to the convenience, a set price meal allows you to enjoy a meal that has been planned and curated by the chefs themselves. Here are just some of the restaurants that will be participating.

Amigos Taqueria and Tequila, located on the corner of Canal Street and High Street, will be serving up some great, authentic Mexican food. Start off with house-made salsa and chips or mango habanero wings. Then, move on to one of the five available entrees, including Corona-battered fish and chips served with guava coleslaw and jalapeno tartar sauce, or their Southwestern chicken salad. Finally, get chocolate chip cookie dough churros, flan, or some cake for your dessert course.

Or you could stop in at Casa Della Luce on Franklin Street. Start off with one of their delicious appetizers like their New England Clam Chowder, served with clam-cakes. For your entree, you can choose between four cheese ravioli, chicken scarpariello, eggplant Florentine, or braised veal. For dessert, have a root beer float or some ricotta cannoli for a more authentic Italian meal.

During Restaurant Week, a  delectable three-course lunch is only $15, while a savory three-course dinner is $25. You don’t have to buy any kind of voucher or ticket beforehand.  To participate, simply head into the restaurant in question and opt for their Restaurant Week special. After that, all you need to do is enjoy your meal. Although, please remember that tip is not included.
