Well the snow has certainly fallen now and is continuing to do so! There are several ways to enjoy this white fluffy stuff and Yawgoo Valley Ski Area is one of the best.  The ski area features a dozen different trails over thirty six acres of land. The trails differ in difficulty, from easy to difficult. If you’re looking for a challenge, try out the TNT trail. Or, if you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, you might want to stick to one of the green rated “beginner” trails. There is also a great snow tubing hill, for dome high speed downhill adventures.  If the snow isn’t coming down like it should, don’t worry, Yawgoo Valley has a sophisticated artificial snow system, ensuring that the slopes are always covered in powder.

Yawgoo Valley Ski Area and Tubing Park in Exeter RI has a full pro shop, and offers both daily and seasonal rentals of skis, ski poles, boots, and snowboards. Rentals are available for both adults and children, with boot sizes ranging from a children’s 1 to an adult’s 16 for ski boots, or a 15 for snowboard boots.  If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, or it’s been a few too many winters since you last got on the slopes, Yawgoo Valley offers lessons. There are daily lessons if you’re just in need of a bit of maintenance, a three day program, and a five week program if you really want to increase your skill level.

Yawgoo Valley Ski Area I is located at 160 Yawgoo Valley Road, right behind the Yawgoo water park that you may have visited in warmer months. There are full day tickets, partial day tickets, and season tickets available. There are discounts available for children under twelve, seniors over 65, and any active members of the military.
