Gloria’s Angels is a resource initiative that provides “TLE” (that little extra) to people in need.  This includes, but is not limited to, healthy meals delivery, comfort care bags to newly diagnosed patients, oncology massage and special programs for metastatic patients.

#8  The HOPE Bus

The Hope Bus is the spirit of Gloria Gemma, traveling throughout Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts embracing all those who step upon it with hope and support. Over 8,000 visitors experience the Hope Bus every year.

#9  Our Young Survivors Program Raises SPIRITS

Nearly 11-percent of all women diagnosed with breast cancer are under the age of 44. The Young Survivors Program supports the challenges and emotional struggles people in this age group encounter after diagnosis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

#10  Gloria Gemma Events INSPIRE

Flames of Hope is the largest breast cancer event in the Northeast, drawing over 100,000 people into downtown Providence every October.  The weekend is filled with exhibits, activities and inspiration, including the Illuminations of Life Ceremonly where breast cancer survivors and loved ones carry torches in memory of loved ones and to light the way for those who have yet to begin their journeys.
