1. Washington County Fair! Grab your boots, fray your shorts and head over to RI’s largest agricultural fair. There will be rides, food, games, animals, contests, demos, and so much more! This fair continues through Sunday!
2. Chase Rice! There is a country vibe this weekend in Rhode Island…and Chase Rice offers plenty of country appeal.

3. Birds from Down Under! This is a great way to spend some time with the family at Roger Williams Park Zoo, the exhibit ends September 5th! ““Birds from Down Under will offer an exciting, immersive experience with bird species native to Australia. Visitors will stroll in delight among over 500 birds including grass parakeets, cockatiels and various parrot species, while enjoying the thrill of feeding the colorful creatures and learning about conservation challenges they face in their natural habitats.”
4. The Loof! August 20th at Cresent Park…
“Building upon our success from last year, the East Providence Arts Council is hosting The Looff: East Providence Art Festival. The festival is returning to historic Crescent Park in Riverside, RI on August 20, 2016 (Rain Date August 21st). Please join us in celebrating a “whirlwind of art, music and life”. We have a full schedule of preformances throughout the day, 60 + artist and artisan booths, food trucks and other great surprises. This festival is FREE and open to the public.”
