ProvidenceG Heats up This Summer!

Have you been to Providence’s only rooftop restaurant and lounge yet?  This summer season is the perfect time to experience rooftop dining in the city! Rooftop at the ProvidenceG has expanded their summer hours, allowing plenty of opportunity to savor the sights and sounds of the city.  They are now open Mondays through Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Fridays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and on Sundays from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.  The refreshed summer menu taps into Rhode Island’s local offerings from the sea and land. Corporate Executive Chef Sisca has crafted a menu that reflects the flavors of summertime.  Here are a few highlights from the menu:

•  “the chowdah” pizza topped with smoked bacon, native clams, potatoes and oyster crackers
• tuna niçoise pizza featuring rare tuna, haricot verts, Niçoise olives, artichokes and white anchovies
• fluke crudo with native fluke, fresno, grapefruit and saffron “rice crispy”
• grilled sea bass finished with sweet corn succotash, asparagus, spring peas and a corn emulsion
• pork belly buns featuring crisp pork belly, kimchi slaw and pickled radish.

There are a variety of summer cocktails, craft beers and delicious wines to pair with your dish. Beyond the food and drink….there is still much more to look forward to.

The Rooftop will be rocking every Wednesday through Sunday with live entertainment.  Here is the summer line-up:

• Wednesdays and Saturdays, guests can enjoy the popular Rooftop Grooves DJ series with nightlife talent including DJ Andy Morris – whose vibrant house and lounge mixes will start at 9 p.m
•  Thursdays, guests can enjoy live acoustic performances of Top 40 hits and favorite throwback tunes from Rhode Island’s best musicians from 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m
•  Fridays, DJ Naughty will be in residence, spinning everything from favorite throwback tunes to Top 40 and dance music from 9:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
•  “Sunday Fundays,” guests can chill to summer beats from one of the Rooftop’s resident DJs from 3 – 7 p.m. as they curate a special vibe and atmosphere that will have guests feeling like they’re in Saint-Tropez.

Guests can also enjoy a luxurious experience in one of the semi-private lounge areas.  Each area offers a private entrance, a personal server and can accommodate groups of 2-20.  This is the perfect location for your next special occasion.  A limited number of lounges are available each night.
