The 4th of July marks South County Museum’s annual 4th of July Chick Hatch. This family friendly event will allow you the unique opportunity to watch as these little baby chicks peck their way out of their eggs. In addition to watching the chicks hatch, you can hold some babies. Come and learn from Don Nelson, “the chicken expert”, about raising your own flock of Rhode Island Reds! This is a great family fun event and a wonderful way to spend time on the beautiful grounds of the museum! Astro of New England is sponsoring this year’s Chick Hatch. Price $2/per person, members free, under 1 free!
