Dunkin’ Donuts Center: March and April

While winter is on its way out, we’re not in the spring weather quite yet. Along with the usual basketball and hockey games, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center will be hosting two interesting events over the next month, in case you’re looking for a family-friendly, indoor event during the final weeks of winter weather.

First up, on Friday, March 28^th and Saturday, March 29^th, the Harlem Globetrotters will be coming to the Dunk for their 2014 “Fans Rule” tour. The Harlem Globetrotters are a perennial favorite among fans of kid-friendly arena events. Basketball fans young and old will enjoy the show.

In addition to the usual fun of a Globetrotters game, fans from each city the Globetrotters come to will be able to vote online for a new rule. For example, Providence fans could vote to add another ball to the game, or add a series of trick shot contests to the game. Tickets start at $20. The Globetrotters are usually a popular show, so if you’re planning on attending, you should get your tickets as soon as possible.

On Saturday, April 12^th, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center will host Stars on Ice. The show will feature Olympic figure skating gold medalist Ashley Wagner and silver medalist Gracie Gold. Tickets start at $27.

The Providence Bruins will be playing every Friday and Sunday until their last game of the season on April 18^th.
