The Nature Conservancy- Earth Day Celebrations

In celebration of Earth Day, The Nature Conservancy offers a host of events in Rhode Island that will connect you with nature.  The Nature Conservancy is an incredible organization that is working fearlessly to help spread awareness and protect are invaluable land and water resources.  Much like the Lorax, they speak for the trees and the rest of the environment as well. Their passion and dedication has led to many successes as far as Mother Earth is concerned.  As citizens it is our inherent duty to support and promote organizations that are fighting to preserve and protect our planet.  Consider being part of the change and attend one of these local events or contact the Nature Conservancy to get involved!

 In spring, male woodcocks perform a high, spiraling aerial display, hoping to catch the attention of a mate on the ground below.

• 4/26/14  Earth Day Family Nature Walk.
