3.  The Grounds:  As previously noted, The Charlestown Rathskeller is located on 7 country acres that offer a private feel, almost like your own backyard.  The fire pit is blazing at night and the music jams from the outdoor tent.  A clang of a horseshoe and the cheer of the crowd all add to the grounds.  There is a fireside bar for your added pleasure and even a beach volleyball court!  In addition, there is ample parking as well as outdoor dining on the heated patio.  Clearly, your outdoor enjoyment was first and foremost in this design.

6.  The French Fries:  Since the inception of The Rathskeller, they have been known all over the state and beyond for their fries.  Each potato is cut to order and cooked only moments before arriving at your table.  They are seasoned to perfection and served piping hot.  If you want a bit more of an adventure, there are several options.  You can have your fries loaded with bacon, cheddar, sour cream and scallions…a more exciting version of the baked potato.  Another option is having your fries smothered in savory short rib gravy or perhaps topped with truffled pecorino.  No matter which way, these fries are the best around.
