A Taste of Summer at South County Museum!

“A Taste of Summer,” a celebration of local culinary delights, is the theme of South County Museum’s annual fundraiser on Friday, June 10 from 5 to 8 pm on the campus grounds.  The evening will include appetizers, chowder, calamari, BBQ ribs and artisan desserts as well as a spirits and wine bar provided by local vendors.  The evening will feature a silent auction and music provided by guitarist Steve DeConti.  Dress for the event is casual and tickets are priced at $35 per person for advance reservations or $40 at the door. South County Museum honors Rhode Island’s rural, village and maritime history.  The Museum is located at 115 Strathmore Street, Narragansett, RI on eight acres with seven exhibit buildings and a living history farm.  Exhibits are open on Friday and Saturday from 10 to 4 during June; during July and August, the hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10-4.
