The Comedy Open Mic at Askew!!!! We open the stage to those that want to cultivate their comedy! Tell some jokes! Support the local comedy scene!!! And just have a fun time on a Tuesday!!!! Please be supportive & courteous to your fellow comics!!!

This is a workshop for new comedians, but also a space where practiced comedians can work on new material.

Every week will feature a guest host! Anyone interested in guest hosting, PM me & I will give you a date!

Askew is a very LGBTQ/BLM/Comedian friendly venue, so though we don’t censor the mic, we do ask all comics to keep that in mind & be respectful. Discrimination & Bullying are NOT cool nor acceptable, so support the room & your fellow comics!

Covid Regulations:
1. We do use a microphone, which is sanitized between each comic. If you are not comfortable with this, you don’t have to use it or you are more than welcome to bring your own mic.
2. You are required to give a name & phone # for contact tracing required by the state of RI
3. Please wear a mask!!! Required to walk in & walk around. You may take it off at your table.
4. Please stay seated during the event. Unfortunately, due to Covid regulations, there is no standing allowed. Groups can legally be up to 15 ppl, so if you want to sit with friends, please just ask – we will accommodate seating.
5. Comics are required to stay 14 feet away from patrons & vice versus, so please stay on the stage
