Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, presented by Citizens Bank, at Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village is celebrating 30 years of Halloween magic October 4 – November 4. Called EXTRAORDINARY by both CNN and USA Today, this year’s show includes more than 5,000 intricately carved pumpkins featuring scenes of wizards, fairy tales, and the luminaries of great myths and legends, alongside superheroes, and historical figures who changed our world. Revel in the sights and sounds of the season, and celebrate this otherworldly experience!

FAQs:
Q: Are the pumpkins real? How do they keep them in good shape?
A: Yes – all of the intricate and giant carved pumpkins you see on the trail are real! Carvers from Passion for Pumpkins keep carving and enhancing the displays throughout the life of the show. They expect to go through about 20,000 pumpkins during the course of the 32-night run.

Q: Is on-site parking available?
A: The Zoo offers free parking in its several on-site lots on a first-come, first-served basis. If needed, additional parking is available on the street in Roger Williams Park. Upon arrival, please follow the instructions of our parking attendants located throughout the lots.

Q: Are the lines really long?
A: Our new timed-entry system has significantly reduced wait times on our busiest nights (prime nights: Friday through Sunday). Value nights, which are Mondays through Thursdays, typically have even shorter wait times and therefore use standard entry procedures.

Q: Do I have to buy tickets in advance?
Tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are sold ONLINE ONLY and use a timed-entry system. Tickets for Monday-Thursday nights may be purchased online or at the show.
