Chris Powell has been photographing nature for over 50 years. As a park naturalist in Virginia, he used his camera to bring people closer to nature. Today, as a retired marine biologist living in Jamestown, Chris continues to bring the beauty of nature to all, focusing his photography on birds. With his wife, Candy, he has traveled to many parts of the world seeking and photographing birds. From the high Andes Mountains of Ecuador to the rainforest of the Brazilian Amazon, to the Galapagos and Europe as well as many areas of the United States, he has photographed our avian wonders. Join us for a photographic exhibit of Chris’s work and enjoy “The Beauty of Wings and Feathers!
