Looking for a unique family friendly Sunday outing? Then touring the historic Blackstone River by riverboat may just be the answer. The 40-passenger riverboat will bring you on an intriguing and relaxing tour through the Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park. On these tours you will hear stories of the workers, residents and early settlers of the Blackstone River Valley and what it took to make our region what it is today. As the 45-minute tours wind along the waters and thick foliaged riverbanks you may get a chance to see the great blue heron, hawks, deer, turtles, or even the returning Bald Eagle, that live along our renewed waterways. Nature & Heritage Tours are available on Sundays at 1, 2 and 3pm. Environmental Tours are also offered on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month at 10 & 11:00am. Docking locations vary by month that include Central Falls, East Providence, Pawtucket and Woonsocket. Tours are currently $12 per adult, children (under 12) $10 each.
