Field Day at Whalers Brewing…Bring Your Inner Child Out to Play!

If you are of legal drinking age and have an inner child just waiting to be set free, then here is your chance!  On August 14th from 1-5 pm, Whalers Brewing is proud to host Field Day 2016. This a FREE, 21+ event. It will be a fun day filled with adults enjoying craft beer and playing lawn games in the field just across the river from the brewery.   Participants are asked to sign up their team of 4-8 people ahead of time either in the taproom or online (http://bit.ly/2acxtqj). Games will include bocce, badminton, a corn hole tournament, a tug of war contest, and a keg throwing contest. There will be a break in the middle where attendees can relax, hydrate and enjoy some food from one of the two vendors: Boru BBQ will be here smoking meats, and Gastros Food Truck will be slinging hot dogs. There will be an outdoor bar on the day, so participants won’t have to run inside to grab a beer, energy must be conserved for the games. There will be an Ice Throne for an ultimate cooling experience!  The games will be announced by the always colorful assistant brewer Chris who will also be keeping score–the top scoring teams on the day will receive some cool new Whalers apparel.
