Greetings my beer blogging buddies! It is time for yet another review of some Rhode Island Suds! We seem to have a plethora of wonderful brews in this small state. I am not complaining! This week’s feature hails from Westerly. Grey Sail’s Flying Jenny Extra Pale Ale.
This EPA is an amber gold when it fills the glass and has a lovely rich aroma which reminds me of hot buttery bread fresh from the oven. Flying Jenny Ale graces the palate with a presence of hops and then grapefruit. This Extra Pale Ale doesn’t over power or linger too long but leaves you craving that next sip. I partnered Flying Jenny with an herb roasted pork loin, roasted potatoes and fresh brussel sprouts…a match made in heaven!
