The Holiday Strolls in East Greenwich RI will take place on every Sunday in December: December 1 , December 8, December 15 and December 22, starting at noon and going until four in the afternoon. Even if you stay till the end, you can get home before the sun begins to set.

The Holiday Stroll will take place on Main Street. The first day of the Holiday Stroll, Sunday December 1^st, will feature the “elf on a shelf” scavenger hunt. On Thursday, December 5^th, there will be a Christmas tree lighting, as well as a visit from Santa Claus. The tree lighting will also include Luminaria lanterns, which you can usually see scattered around Providence during WaterFire.

On Sunday September 8^th, the Main Street Holiday Stroll will be hosting a Santa look-alike contest, and on the 15^th you and your kids can get a photo taken with Santa Claus. There will also be a cookie exchange on the 15^th, if you want to get a taste of some local, homemade cookies.  On the final day of the 2013 Holiday Stroll, which takes place on Sunday the 22^nd, there will be the Family Hat Parade.
