Head to Block Island for the 27th annual Thanksgiving weekend shopping stroll this November!

On Saturday there is a 5K Turkey Trot. (Register online at www.active.com) with great T-shirt’s for all who pre-register. They also have Block Island sunglasses for all of the youth category runners.

Take the ferry from Point Judith, RI (www.blockislandferry.com). Or, fly with New England Airlines from Westerly, RI.
If you need accommodations, the 1661 Inn, Blue Dory Inn, Avonlea, Sheffield House, Inn at Spring House, Dodge Cottage and Garden Gate B&B are all open.
For lunch the following places will be open: McAloon’s, Kimberly’s, Bethany’s Airport Diner, Southeast Light Delights (in the taxi lot in Old Harbor), Three Sisters, BI Grocery.
For dinner: Eli’s, The Barn at Spring House, Kimberly’s, McAloon’s
The Yellow Kittens will be open all weekend long.
