Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza Opens in East Providence!

Born from a food truck, Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza opened its doors to a free-standing restaurant in East Providence, RI, on December 14th, 2019. This casual 25 seat counter-service wood-fired pizzeria instantly became a destination, especially from their food truck fans waiting in anticipation for a go-to anytime place to enjoy Jeff’s quality made from scratch offerings.

Jeff’s is dedicated to quality ingredients, and whenever possible, sourcing local products such as local curd, certified San Marzano Tomatoes, Imported “00” Flour, 100% cold-pressed Sicilian Olive Oil & more. Just try a slice, and you will immediately realize this is not your typical pizza place and indeed not a chain. When they say scratch, they mean it.

But let’s talk about the pizza…. The dough is light, crispy and airy, the sauce is rich in flavor, and the toppings are of the highest quality. Toppings include Gorgonzola, Herbed Ricotta, Braised Chicken, Pepperoni, Pulled Pork, Bacon, Basil, Candied Jalapeños, Fresh Garlic, Caramelized Onions, Roasted Mushrooms, Figs, Hot Honey, Meatball, Sausage, and Black Olives. During RI Blogger’s visit, what we found most impressive was the service, attention to detail, and the pepperoni (you know the kind that curls up and cooked to perfection).  

Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza does it right; they stick to a menu focused on their passion for pizza excellence while offering a handful of delicious small plates. Small plates include wings, not just any wings, we are talking about Buttermilk Brined Wings (also available as a boneless tender) in your choice of Garlic Parmesan or Balsamic Hot Honey. If you love a sandwich with fries, try the hand-cut Parmesan Truffle Fries, and a Hot Honey Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich.
