Local Grub with Local Suds…

Local Grub with Local Suds

Hello once again my trusty beer bloggers! I am here to yet again to tell you of my latest excursion on the trail of suds and sustenance. It was a dark and stormy night…actually there was lightening and fog but that’s about it. I was hungry and sailing through old Wakefield as I realized there was no food at home to quell my noisy stomach. I could’ve blacked out from hunger because my next recollection was standing inside El Fuego Mexican Restaurant stammering about their Winnebago Wrap with those lovely avocados, beans and the best tasting kitchen sink I have ever had. I think I paid them before I left and may have given the nice gentleman a paper cut as I ripped the bag from his hand.
Upon arriving home I remembered my pack of Foolproof Robust Porter a-chillin away just waiting to be tapped.
Listen my dear readers, I honestly can’t tell you what tasted better. I poured my porter getting that first aroma of dark woody smoky spirit in a tall chilled glass and quickly sipped into its foamy flavor. Next I followed with some of the freshest tasting salsa (remember it’s February in Rhode Island…seen any good tomatoes lately?! How do they do it?!) on this earth. The corn chips are freshly baked and teamed up with El Fuego Salsa then washed down with an exception Foolproof Porter, well there are no words. All this and I still had my Winnebago crying for attention.
Do yourselves a favor very soon and grab some dinner for home from El Fuego Mexican Restaurant in Wakefield ( the old Kenyon’s Department Store) while some Foolproof Raincloud Robust Porter awaits you arrival!
