International Oktoberfest Newport RI 2013 is a German festival held on Columbus Day weekend, October 12 and 13th. It is located on the Newport waterfront at 4 Commercial Wharf Newport RI, and is a welcome to autumn. This annual fest has German cuisine and plenty of BEER! Music about the Biergartens helps to set the fun and spirited tone!

Grab a bratwurst and a seasonal brew and listen to the tale of the origins of Oktoberfest that dates back to 1810. The symbolic tapping of the keg is at 1:00 on Saturday!
There will be a hoisting competition, and the winner will be sent to Germany next year to celebrate!! Folk dancers and wonderful German performances are a staple of this fest.

With a huge list of beers on tap, your thirst will be quenched, and your belly will be full with a menu that ranges from schnitzels to spiral potatoes…

-Saturday adult tickets are $20 in advance/$25 day of event
Kids 12 and under $12
– Sunday adult tickets are $17 in advance/ $20 day of event
Kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
-Weekender pass $30 advance/ $40 day of event (access to both days)
