One of the most important and delicious Italian exports is, undoubtedly, prosciutto. And on Tuesday, June 4, Sarto is pleased to host Parma Night: a celebration of all things prosciutto.
Starting at 5 PM, Sarto will be offering a special Prosciutto di Parma menu, as well as complimentary samples al fresco. Prosciutto di Parma ambassador Francesco Lupo will visit to dazzle guests’ taste buds with some of the finest prosciutto available anywhere. Pianist Billy Musto will also be performing, which will make the evening one of sensory delights that must be experienced! Guests can look forward to expertly prepared Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus, Chicken with Prosciutto and Sage Crochetta, and Deviled Prosciutto Crostini.
The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma was established in 1963 by 23 producers producing 53,000 branded hams who wanted to protect and promote their product throughout the world. Since then, the Consorzio has grown into a family of 150 Prosciutto di Parma producers supplying nearly 9 million hams annually to markets all over the world. Today’s producers carry on a tradition that has been passed down through generations. The production of every Prosciutto di Parma is regulated by strict laws that define the quality and characteristics, represented by the Parma Crown branded on Prosciutto di Parma.
