The Pete Silva Project at HeritageFest 2017

It’s a long-overdue homecoming for Pete Silva as he and his band make their first appearance July 16th at 7:00pm at the East Providence HeritageFest 2017.  The long-time 94HJY weekend disc jockey and former East Providence Townie, with his band The Pete Silva Project,  hits the stage with what is described as a “joyful and exciting recreation of the Big Bang of rock and roll,” combining his original music with classics ranging from Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, and more.  It’s a show that stirs up as many memories as it makes.  The Pete Silva Project includes Townies Paul Furtado on drums, Bruce Zarembka on keyboards and vocals, and Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame member John Baldaia on guitar, bass, and vocals.  Rounding out the band are Bill Lehourites on guitar and vocals and Kim Hallman on backing vocals and percussion.  This will be an exciting Townie homecoming, so don’t miss it!  The Pete Silva Project goes on at 7:00 p.m., and admission is free.  For more information go to www.epheritagedays.com
