Okay Taste of summer is South County Museum’s annual fundraiser. Come kick off the start of summer, support the museum and enjoy the local flavors of some of Southern Rhode Island’s best restaurants while exploring the Metz Exhibition Hall and the beautiful grounds of the museum. Appetizer sized portions reflecting the South County heritage including calamari, Rhode Island’s official appetizer, will be served by local restaurants including Matunuck Oyster Bar, The Town Dock, Phil’s Main Street Grille, Coast Guard House, Two Ten Oyster Bar & Grill, Whaler’s Brewing company, Brickley’s Ice Cream, Dell’Orto Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Meadow Brook Inn. A beer and wine bar is also provided. A silent auction featuring goods and services from local merchants will be held. Get your tickets here!
Fee: $50 per person. Due to the increasing popularity of this event, only 200 tickets will be sold. So get yours early!!
