The Rhode Island Pet Show
This weekend, The Rhode Island Pet Show will be held in Providence. From people that work in the field to the average dog
owner, the pet show will have a wide array of demonstrations, vendors, training programs, and more. Even if you just want to watch the dog parade, it is definitely worth checking out the Rhode Island Pet Show.
There will be a number of live obedience demonstrations. If your pup is easily distracted from your commands, doesn’t get along well with others, or is just plain naughty, come down to the show. There will also be a number of different vendors present, from fundraising organizations to custom made ID tags to specialty foods. This is especially good if you’re looking for something outside the usual big box pet store’s selection.
In addition to the products, services, and training programs you can get your hands on, there will also be a live dog competition consisting of rare and American Kennel Club purebreds.
This is an all-ages show, although you’ll have to leave any animal members of your family at home. There will be a free play zone set aside, and will include a climbing wall among other entertainment. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children ten and under.
The Rhode Island Pet Show is being held from on Saturday, November 15th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Sunday, November 16th, the event is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The show is being held at the Providence Convention Center at One Sabin Street in Providence.
