Rhode Island’s Local Distillery Welcomes Carlo DeVito for Exclusive Tasting and Signing of His Latest Book, “New Single Malt Whiskey”

WHAT: This Friday, Sons of Liberty distillery is taking you to school, whiskey school that is, with a little help from one of the global spirit industry’s most respected minds – Carlo DeVito.DeVito and Sons of Liberty founder, Mike Reppucci, will be leading an exclusive tasting and discussion on the subject of American Single Malt Whiskies. DeVito will be on-site selling and signing his latest book, “New Single Malt Whiskey,” which discusses more than 325 bottles, from 97 distilleries, in more than 25 countries. To create a true “hands on” classroom environment, the distillery will be sampling 6 American Single Malts for students including UPRISING and Battle Cry at a brain stimulating 92 proof opposed to the current 80 proof. DeVito and Reppucci will be selecting 4 additional whiskies from the list below and are encouraging attendees to visit the event’s Facebook page to make suggestions.
