Birds of America at Rosecliff

Virtually explore Rosecliff’s recent exhibit showcasing famed naturalist’s relentless pursuit of the birds of America and his singular determination in seeing his beautiful artworks published. Highlights include over 20 beautifully framed hand colored double elephant folio-sized aquatints from Birds of America, exquisite ladies hats and fans illustrating the early-20th-century craze for feathers that lead to initial conservation efforts, as well as Audubon’s life mask and snuff box.

Virtual Tiffany Glass Exhibition

The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass in New York City, Tiffany Glass: Painting with Color and Light is an exhibition comprised of five windows, nineteen lamps, and more than 100 pieces of opalescent flat glass and glass “jewels” that illustrate the rich expanse of color and light available to the artists at the Tiffany Studios. The Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch at Rosecliff on April 11 are canceled. The exhibition “Becoming Vanderbilt” is postponed until further notice. The opening reception will be rescheduled for a later date. The Newport Symposium is postponed until 2021. Registered individuals will be contacted directly.
