Your Weekend Docket October 24th-26th
Here are some of the great RI events that will be taking place this upcoming weekend, from Friday the 24th through Sunday the 26th.
On Friday, the Blues Brothers Official Review will be performed at Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket. Produced by Dzn

Also on Friday, the Third Annual Heroes Breakfast will be held at the Omni Hotel in downtown Providence. Sponsored by the American Red Cross, this fundraising event encourages and honors local heroes. Learn more about this non-profit event at www.redcross.org/news/event/ri/-Heroes-Breakfast-.
The Providence Bruins will be playing the Norfolk Admirals this Friday at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Tickets start at $21. You can purchase tickets at http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/01004D19D96B5E4E.
On Friday and Saturday, Rochambeau Library, on the corner of Hope and Rochambeau in Providence, will be holding a book sale. Fill up a bag of books for just five dollars. Learn more at https://www.provcomlib.org/locations/rochambeau.
Sunday will mark the last day of FEAR at Fort Adams, which turns the fort into a haunted house, and includes a carnival midway and ghost hunts. They are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before closing down for the season. Learn more here.
Sunday is also the last day of the Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival. You can check out The Whisperer in Darkness, a full-length film based on an H.P. Lovecraft tale and done in the style of the golden era horror films of the 1930s. Or see a collection of short horror films on Sunday at the Providence Public Library’s theater. If you’re planning on attending one of the events in Providence, keep in mind that this weekend is Brown University Family Weekend, which means College Hill will be packed to the gills and street parking will be sparse.
